Vitamin B-12

Vitamin B-12 (folic acid)  is needed for the body as it is part of the important B-vitamins. It is responsible for the synthesis of our DNA & RNA & the functions of the brain. Yet, some people do not get the enough B-vitamins in their diet. Meat, poultry, krill, eggs, fish all have a decent amount of B-vitamins. It has much less in vegetables which is why vegetarians lack vitamin B-12. It helps in breaking fats & carbohydrates which in turn help people with their weight loss goals. Also, it helps in repairing cells, & boosting the immune system making it less susceptible for you to get sick. More energy is always a plus in my book as well! I have discussed the benefits of doing push-ups but I haven't talked about the bench press. What better to build up the chest by combining both. This is one of the best ways to work out the chest. I suggest you start doing push-ups at first to get comfortable. You can't possible hurt yourself to bad doing push-ups. Well, not that I know of. Anyways, the bench press is easy to do. There's many variations of exercises with the bench press. The joy of maxing out your previous number is awesome compared to the strain you'll receive from doing bench presses. It will make you come back for more & more after the accomplishment. It helps to build the chest, shoulders, & triceps. But if you do too many without rest the next day, your muscles won't grow. So give it time before you go build those pecs!

Exercise, No Excuses

Hey guys, back at it here. I decided to tweak the name of the blog a bit if you haven't noticed! Thanks for the comments left back over the weekend. I read all of them & got back to you =). Anyways, if you celebrated easter then you probably also ate much food to go along with it. If you have a gym pass, it makes it easier to burn those calories off. From my experience it was easier to stay focused on one thing- working out till I couldn't anymore. You can get extra motivation working out along a friend or someone new at the gym. Some of us can't go for the gym routine because of time restrictions. Meaning, we are busy most of the day. But if you want something real bad, you gotta work at it. For the people that can't go to the gym there are easy exercises found online that can get you toned with enough work. The jumping jack is something that can be done watching tv. There is no need to rely on the gym. Burpees are another one you can try at home. You just got to have the same driving factor that working out at the gym brings. It's easier to just wander off after doing a couple of push-ups if your home. There's so many things to distract us nowadays. But it all depends on how much you want something done for yourself. I believe that if you dream that you can achieve, it can be done. If you can't focus on much then I suggest you take omega 3 fish oil or flaxseed oil =) Drink water after your all done!

The Deal With Porn

I want to discuss a topic that most people are ashamed to talk about. I know that sex isn't related to weight loss but bare with me here. I believe that sex is great if it's controlled to a minimum. Meaning, your not "choking-the-chicken" every opportunity your mom is not looking. Breaking the cycle of watching internet pornography could be very beneficial to your social life. Would you rather be experiencing it yourself or having someone to share that awesome moment? Masturbation is healthy but like I said, moderation is the key. Too much porn can rewire the brain! It's a vicious cycle. Especially if your already depressed. I would "beat the meat" because it made me feel good for a minute or two. After, it only made me more depressed because I wasn't really getting with anyone & I definitely wasn't interacting with people. But now, I have broke that cycle. I see more positive things come into my mind & I feel less pressure talking to people. It's hard at first but start working out with a diet. It can raise your self-esteem even if it's little, it will be a huge boost from where you can be now. Try it, I encourage you. Give it a month & TRY to keep your mind of anything related to sex. Let yourself find other things that bring pleasure. Then, life will seem more enjoyable.

Juicy Water

I noticed yesterday that ever since I started drinking water, I have stopped munching on sweets. It can be feeding your depression even more. Take note guys, people eat snacks when bored. It can also be when they are feeling a bit sad, or just because the food is "right there" & "I don't want to let it go to waste". Sugar seriously clutters your body's ability to support itself! To keep it short & sweet- diabetes & body fat gain. I personally know that it's VERY difficult to stop eating sugars all at once since it has been compared to quitting highly addictive drugs! Incredible! I STRUGGLED the first day without sweets. The cravings are so serious that you'll probably start making ANY excuse to eat unless you have some sort of self-control (think meditation). Luckily, water can help you get used to healthier things in the long run. Check out my other posts for helpful tips!

Butt..it's True

I wanted to share a little story about how women DO check out guys behinds. I wanted to see if it's true or not since someone said they would never do that! I started the experiment without it really in mind. I was walking by a nail shop (beautiful women)  & outside there was a gorgeous asian. She was crouching down talking on her cellphone. I've heard asian women stay loyal compared to other women of different races. I am guessing that came from a survey. Anyways, walked by her & I decided to look back after 2 secs. What do you know? She was staring at my butt like it was a god. She was stretching out her hand as if she was grabbing my butt! She got embarrassed after that quick smirk I gave her. Anyways, get to walking!
